Palestinian Authority (PA) Economic Minister and Head of General Commission of Industrial Zones Abeer Odeh has launched three infrastructure projects to rehabilitate an industrial zone in the Gaza Strip, as per news reports. The three projects, which are fully funded by the EU, will cover sanitation, electricity and filtered drinking water plants.
Launching the three projects came immediately after the industrial zone was handed over to the minister. Also in a meeting with the USAID Odeh revealed that four contractors had already started the development works, which is is set to be finished in two months. The news reports added, rehabilitation and development of Gaza’s industrial zone is at the top of the government’s agenda. Gaza’s industrial zone is located on the eastern border of Gaza City.
