Sydney’s ARC by Crown Group’s Serviced Apartments to Open by Mid-October 2018. Skye Hotel Suites offers 72 luxury suites overlooking Sydney within V by Crown Group, a distinctive Sydney landmark designed by Allen Jack + Cottier and Koichi Takada Architects. The tower houses a diverse mix of 514 residence apartments and hotel suites along with an outdoor, 25m swimming pool, fitness center, entertainment rooms and outdoor spaces. Skye Hotel Suites brings together the best elements of hospitality: the warmth and personalized service of a boutique hotel; the grandeur and amenities of a luxury hotel; the spaciousness and familiarity of a local apartment; and the relaxing escape of a resort.
Crown Group built the Skye Suites brand to complement its growing apartment development pipeline, opening its first hotel in Parramatta in 2017. The Sydney CBD Skye Suites marks the developer’s first serviced apartment offering and will open its doors for short- and long-stay guests in mid-October. Sitting within the Koichi Takada-designed 25-story ARC development on the corner of Clarence and Kent Streets, Crown Group will host 73 serviced apartments among 179 residential apartments.
The senior spokesperson from Crown Group Skye Suites, Sydney expressed that they were very excited to open doors to Skye Suites Sydney after such success in Parramatta. Crown Group’s Skye Hotel Suites in the developer’s 29-story Parramatta project was Parramatta’s first five-star boutique hotel and marked Crown Group’s introduction to the hotel sector. In a statement, Crown Group said that the suites at Kent Street are the first boutique serviced apartment offering in inner-city Sydney. “This is an exciting project for Sydney as ARC by Crown Group will be the first collection of serviced apartments to redefine the west corridor of the city – tapping into the business and financial district of the CBD,” Crown Group director of hotels and suites Wayne Taranto said. Luxury Boutique and service apartments will be available for the guests and Sydney siders. The second phase of the project will see the remaining residential suites, rooftop and retail precinct complete in November 2018.
