Etihad Introducing Boeing 787 on Kuala Lumpur Route Brussels Route. Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Airways would introduce the Boeing 787-9 aircraft on its daily services to Kuala Lumpur and Brussels. The jet will begin operating the Abu Dhabi Kuala Lumpur route from December 20 and Brussels route from January 3. The aircraft feature 271 economy seats and 28 business seats. Etihad currently has a fleet of 21 Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
The spokesperson from Etihad quoted saying Kuala Lumpur and Brussels are very important destinations of Etihad network drawing a very encouraging response from its customers, therefore introducing 787-9 Dreamliner on these routes. Etihad customers can expect the quietest cabins and our latest in-flight products and technology, one of the world’s most technologically advanced and fuel-efficient aircraft. The Abu Dhabi airline also announced a partnership with Saudia earlier this week spanning maintenance and codeshare routes. The two carriers are also in talks for reciprocal frequent flier benefits and cargo cooperation.
