One of India’s largest housing finance companies, IIFL Home Finance Ltd., is taking giant strides in educating and supporting customers to avail Credit Linked Subsidy (CLSS) under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Housing for All Mission.
With more than 100 branches located across India, IIFL Home Finance Ltd. has successfully marked its presence in affordable housing segment. Till date, the company has supported more than 13,000 families belonging to EWS/LIG category to avail interest subsidy of up to Rs. 2. 67 lacs on their home loan under Credit Linked Subsidy (CLSS) – Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Housing for All Mission.
The organization addresses ‘first- home-buy’ dream of EWS/LIG segment in the country with specialized products and services. In the FY 2017-18 alone, IIFL Home Finance Ltd. has helped over 10, 000 customers in EWS/LIG category to avail CLSS subsidy under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (U).
For its continuous efforts towards supporting the vision of PMAY- Housing for All Mission, IIFL Home Finance Ltd. once again received the award for ‘Best Performing Primary Lending Institution under Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme for EWS/LIG’ from Mr. Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs at Urban Landscape Transformation event in Lucknow. Earlier IIFL Home Finance Ltd. received the award for ‘Best performing Primary Lending institute under Credit Linked Subsidy Scheme for EWS/LIG category’ from National Housing Bank (NHB) in 2017 as well.
The event organized by Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs marked the third anniversary of three key government initiatives- Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), Atal Mission for Rejuvenation of Urban Transformation (AMRUT) & Smart Cities Mission. At the event, IIFL Home Finance CEO Monu Ratra also presented a case study on Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Housing for All.
On receiving the award, Monu Ratra, CEO, IIFL Home Finance said- “It is a proud moment for us to stand here with support from NHB and take this recognition as a responsibility to align ourselves with the objective of PMAY- Housing for All mission. This appreciation drives our organization to further educate and support customers in EWS/LIG category to realize their dream of owning a home”
Some huge announcements were made at the event by PM Modi along with Hardeep Singh Puri, Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik, Girish Yadav, Minister of State (Housing) Govt. of UP, and Amrit Abhijat, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs.
PM Modi interacted with a group of CLSS beneficiaries including beneficiary of IIFL Home Finance Ltd., Smt. Hemlata to share their experiences and success stories. In the coming years, IIFL Home Finance Ltd. looks to spread its footprints and further support customers to avail benefits under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and realize their dream of owning a home come true.
