More than 400 passengers get penalised, know the COVID-19 rules to travel in metro

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is running a campaign against this and passengers who are not applying masks are being fined.

New Delhi: Delhi, India’s capital territory where this Coronavirus disease is spreading rapidly, and daily increases in the affected ones are scaring everyone. The number of infected is increasing every day, but in spite of this, there are many people who are violating and neglecting the rules and precautions.

While traveling in buses and taking any other transportation and even while traveling in the metro, they are not wearing masks and violating the corona rules. This is causing trouble for themselves and others as well.

For the same Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is running a campaign against this and passengers who are not applying masks are being fined.

DMRC tweeted, “the team of Flying Squad of Delhi Metro launched a campaign on April 13 at various metro stations and inside the metro. During this time 422 passengers were punished for not wearing face masks properly and for not following physical distance rules. A fine of 200-200 rupees was charged from 422 passengers for not wearing masks properly.”

To ensure our travel guidelines are being followed, Delhi Metro’s Flying Squads penalised 422 commuters on 13 April 2021 for not wearing a face mask properly & following social distancing. Let us all follow the protocols & politely counsel others to do the same. #CovidIsntOverYet pic.twitter.com/sPSLUU9hzC

The recent campaign which is launched by the Delhi metro is very strict regarding corona infection and whomsoever is not following the rules is getting penalised. Everyone who is traveling in the metro should wear a mask and that should be properly covered mouth and nose section.

Earlier there were one hundred rupees challaned for not wearing a mask. For violating the travel rules were earlier abandoned after convincing passengers but now fines are being imposed, but after this, there is still not any improvement.

Two thousand rupees without a mask in Delhi is fined

The next big strict approach is charging two thousand from those who do not apply masks and ensure that the corona rules are followed. DTC buses do not even have an entry without a mask.
