The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has claimed that Rajasthan has emerged as the number one contributor towards Ram temple construction.
The VHP Vice President, Champat Rai, in Jaipur, on Sunday, stated that people of Rajasthan have contributed more than Rs 500 crore for Ram temple construction in Ayodhya.
Rai stated that more than 500 crore rupees have been collected from Rajasthan for Ram temple building and that a total of Rs 2500 crore have been collected from the entire country for the purpose.
“The stone to be used for the construction of Ram temple is from Banshi Pahadpur from Rajasthan’s Bharatpur.”, Champat Rai, Vice president, Vishva Hindu Parishad, mentioned.
“No steel will be used in the construction of inner precincts of Ram temple.”, Rai stated.
The senior VHP leader also stated that several people connected with Congress have also contributed towards building of Ram temple.
