The architecture institutes educate students on every aspect of realising a project- from the initial intangible stages of site analysis, project conception and design proposition to relevant tangibles of materialising the project through construction details and techniques.

Students are also introduced to the economics of building a design project- analysing expenditure and controlling budgets are some of the critical concerns to be mindful of while constructing a building. The time spent in a design school in learning technical skills and creative artistry to design functional, attractive, and environmentally conscious projects, equip aspirants to become accountable future makers.

The facets of architecture are varied and fascinating. Architects indulge in diverse works, including spatial design, aesthetics, safety management, material management, and several others. The role of an architecture professional is to assess the client’s vision, requirements & budget, perform the research and analysis required, provide feasible design solutions and construct the visualised design after a thorough investigation on expenditure.

Another facet of the design-build genre is the constraint to comply with the building and safety regulations. Depending on the project, the architect also needs to abide by the laws surrounding the preservation of the local environment.

An architect is a creative problem solver who takes pride in inventing designs that increase efficiency and optimise spaces for communities, homeowners, and businesses. It is their responsibility to bring the client’s creative ideas to reality while keeping in mind the needs of those using the constructed space.
